Draco as a baby name?

What do you think of Draco as a baby name?

Draco as a baby name?
sounds like a dragon name, or a name of a knight who sleighs dragons??!!!

I don't think it's a very attractive name.
Reply:To close to Graco (a common baby product producer). On the upside, you can by their products and change the G to a D.
Reply:I suppose it was popular in Dacia, before it was conquered by the Roman Empire, since its symbol-instead of a flag-was the Draco (the skin of a dead wolf, placed on a stick, which sounded like a roar when the stick was waved). But today this name sounds more like Prince Vlad the Third of Walachia (commonly known as Dracula).
Reply:Not to be rude at all, it sounds a little like a laundry detergent or a gas station. How about Drake? Good luck.
Reply:Isn't that the kids in Harry Potter that is mean to harry all the time. I could forsee alot of name calling.

Edit: Go with Brayden that is my maiden name. LOL It is a good strong name.
Reply:yeah no
Reply:Not so much, but I don't like Braydon either. Draco sounds like an industrial corporation (Draco Chemical, Inc.) and Braydon sounds so 2007 Hollywood, yuppie child.
Reply:Kind of extreme, sort of like the life you have let yourself lead so far.

Do what is right for this baby and stop with all the nonsense. When you name him think of what he will think of the name when he has to go to school and face others.

ADDITION:

Just from the sounds of your comments and questions you have asked on here I would recommend you maturing a bit before this baby is born. This child you are about to be responsible fore is innocent in all of this and will not deserve anything but the best of the best from you.

Brayden is a very nice name.
Reply:No...to open to teasing!
Reply:no! draco is harry potter's bully.

i think it creates negative connotations and reminds me of dracula, too! eek!
Reply:Sure. And you can make the middle name "Malfoy".
Reply:I like it in theory, but it's too Harry Potter. I like Draco better than Braydon, though. How about:

Deacon

Drake

Griffin

Griffith

Arthur

Lucian

They're names that either have a similar sound or flavor to Draco.
Reply:dont like it but thats just my opinion, each 2 their own, im sure there would be no copyrights on that name cus it is unique in its own way
Reply:Malfoy? from Harry Potter? he will never escape that, and Draco was NOT a good person...
Reply:Stick with Brayden. Draco sounds like a drain cleaner or son of a vampire.
Reply:nah that's wierd
Reply:NO WAY
Reply:Draco is here to suck your blood. LMAO makes me think of vampires
Reply:ummm...... Dracula comes to mind

not so much .....sorry
Reply:What about a compromise since you don't like Draco...

Drake

or

Griffin

Draco is a bit much.
