Baby name Riley?

Do you think of Riley as a boy's or a girl's name. We've considered Riley for our baby girl, but my husband thinks it's a boy's name. We were thinking of Riley Rebecca or Riley Christina.

Reply:I love the name. My daughters name is Riley and I love it, at first I wasn't so sure (it lasted only one minute, until I looked at her) It is strong without being too much. Her middle name is Elizabeth and it fits her. She's strong and beautiful. Just like her name.

Reply:We just named our son Reilly. I liked the spelling better for a boy that way, but I was told many a time "its a girls name" lol than otehr people said no its sounds boyish, soo its just one of them multi names, like erin/aaron terry jaime etc.





but i sure love the name!! ahah.
Reply:It's unisex for the most part, but of late, more people seem to be thinking about it for a girl. I don't like the double R's of Riley Rebecca, but Riley Christine (rather than Christina) is great!

Reply:Riley is most popular for girls right now...I think naming a boy this name would be unfair because he would in a class with girls with same name. It is becoming a very popular name. It used to be fav. girl name but I want my daughter to have a more unique name...but don't get me wrong--VERY CUTE!

Reply:I love the name Riley, it's one of my favorite girl names. And whenever I think of Riley I always think of it as a girl's name, but it's a unisex name so it can be a boy's name too. And I like Riley Rebecca better because the two r's flow together well, but Christina is good to if you end up choosing that!

Reply:I like it more for a girl than a boy, I believe, but I do have a cousin named Riley who is a boy. It's a very cute name, and also very unisex. It works well for either sex. I am not super fond of either of the middle names, but she's your baby not mine :) I think Riley is adorable!
