My friends baby name?

My best friend has just had a little baby girl and she has called the little girl Peyton-Nicole and is worried that the name is too strange, do you think that it is or not.

The names are nice but are they hyphenated to make one long name? That is odd.
Reply:If it is Peyton as a first name and Nicole as the middle, I love it. If it is two names, I don't like double first or middle names.
Reply:As long as she doesn't mind people shortening it to just Peyton then it's fine, I only know of girls called that so I don't think it's a masculine name.
Reply:It's kind of a pretty name. There are worse names; I had a friend when I was a child, her name was Zelda Ruth. Thank goodness her name was no reflection upon her physical appearance.

Peyton is a masculine name, Nicole is so common and the hyphen is so tacky.
Reply:That name is terrible. The child will drop the Peyton bit and call herself Nicole.

Reply:No, your friend has good taste. So many people name their kids overused and extremely boring names and they end up resenting their parents later in life.
Reply:Not really. It goes really cute together. Now there is nothing to do. The baby was born and your friend named her. Hopefully she'll go on life liking her name because it's unique!
Reply:It's not but Peyton remidns me of a football player but I think Nicole is a pretty middle name and send her my congradulations.

Im not sure about a double barrel name with it tho. Would just leave it as Peyton.
