Which baby name do you like best?

We are expecting our 2nd child in 5 wks, once again we did not find out the sex. Our sons name is Graydon Henry. Needs some feedback on names...We prefer not too popular and unique. Hubby wants a tough boy name and likes Brock or Cade. I like Blake, Colt, and Ford. For a girl, we like Emerson, Makenna, and Reese. Which do you like best for each? Any other suggestions? Our last name starts with a R. Thanks for your opinions...

Which baby name do you like best?
Girls names that I've always loved are: Riley, Alyse, and Lillian. Lillian is my 98 year old grandma's name. I like Graysen and Peyton for a boy.

Rellah

Akira

Hope this helps = )
Reply:If you've named your son Graydon, I would differentiate a daughter's name with a non-"on" ending. Something like Emery or Avery would be better; something slightly more feminine - Piper, maybe? - would be best.

Makenna is quite popular; Reese is, like Emerson, so gender neutral that I think it is a mistake when paired with a sibling called Graydon. Reese sounds like his little brother.

As for a boy, I'd avoid Cade because of the gangs of Caidens (and Jadens, Hadens, Aidans, Zaydens, Braedens) out there. You might use Colton, which has a certain cowboy cool appeal. But I must say that I rather like Ford. It has a certain surname appeal, but since its associated with a car company, it still sounds down-to-earth.

Best wishes!
Reply:Gracen Jean would be a great girls name. For a tough boys name you can't get any tougher than the king. Rex is a strong and powerful name that will never leave a bad taste in your mouth. Choosing from your lists I would have to go with Brock and/or Makenna.
Reply:I like Cade and MaKenna. Cade could be spelled with a K, like Kade. thats cool too. MaKenna could be spelled like:

McKenna or

MiKenna

Good choices!
Reply:Blake is a great name.
Reply:I Like Cade for a boy and Reese for a girl.
Reply:Horrible names!

Reply:Blake for a boy

Makenna for a girl
Reply:i like blake but for a girls name there are some other thats are good and unique like Tatianna and Roxanna. Trust me i have never heard those names alot but when i do i fall in loe with theam because most people name their kids like britney or nicole, there are tons of them and sometimes i dont remember which is which but with a unique name it stands out and u can really remember someone better
Reply:I like Brock for the boy name.. and i like makenna but i have a suggestion: MAKENZIE... let me know if you like .. or for the boy Riley Cain
Reply:i do like cade and blake...... for a girl i think that makenna is beautiful....
Reply:Blake %26amp; Reese
Reply:Never heard Cade before - I think that one's great.

And Emerson is curious and intriguing.

I like those.

Reply:Blake is okay but Colt and Ford are heinous. Sorry, you asked...

I would chose Reese for a girl. Emerson and Makenna are really common, and from what you've said, you don't want that.
Reply:I have a 16 month old daughter named Emerson Kate. Although I got a few strange looks at the beginning, everyone is growing to love the name. My husband calls her "Emma" from time to time, but I still call her by her full name. No problem for her big brother Ryan to pronounce either.
Reply:I understand wanting a normal but not too popular name. My mom named me Joshlyn using both Josh+Lyn for a girls name, to have a feminine name for Joshua. I like Colt and Makenna. Is there a way to combine both your and your husband names.

Carla + Neil= Carneila or something like that.
Reply:Boy:

- Cade

- Colt

Girl:

- Emerson
Reply:I really like the name Ford for a boy...very strong!

For a girl I think Reese is beautiful!
Reply:I love Makenna but it's better spelled "McKenna" I like the name Cade but I also like the name Cameron
Reply:I like Makenna for a girl and Brock for a boy. I don't like Ford and Colt at all.
Reply:I like Cade the most for a boy and I don't really like any of the girl names (but what am I to have an opinion, I think my name is terrible) but probably Makenna the most
Reply:makenna and ford...thats unusual as a name and i kinda like it
Reply:Love Makenna
