Baby name question, Please Help!?

I'm having my baby girl in 9 days and still am unsure of a name!

I've been thinking Michaela (pronounced mi-kayla), and Mischa (pronounced mee-sha) for short, because I wanted something that represents her heritage, but now I'm worried that kids might tease her or people will have a hard time pronouncing it. What do you think?

And what are good middle names?

Thank You!!

Baby name question, Please Help!?
I really like both of those names. I don't really see that Mischa is short for Michaela though because the "c" sound goes from a hard "c" to a soft "ch" sound. Anyway, I know a cute little girl named Meesha and it's easy to pronounce when it's spelled that way.

Just a thought... go with the phonetic spellings to clear things up.

As for middle names, make it one syllable. Do you have any family names you could use? Ann? Claire? Rose?

Congrats by the way! I'm due in 11 days with a little boy so I know how you're feeling at this point!
Reply:I like Michaela, but how about spelling it Micaela, as for middle names Cheyenne, Anne, Elizabeth

hope this helps
Reply:Try Mikayla its easier to pronouce and doesnt look like Michael. Misha is interesting too . . . What is her heritage? I'd be glad to help. Try this site:
Reply:Both names are getting quite popular. I could pronounc both of these without ur phonetic breakdown - so dont worry. What ever u choose will be perfect, forget what other people think! :) GOOD LUCK X
Reply:I like Michaela dont really like Mischa sounds a bit odd i think

Michaela Abbey

Michaela Rose

Michaela lauren???????????????

best of luck with the birth and best wishes for the future.
Reply:I love the name Michaela and I really like the way you've spelled it. I think Mischa would be a very cute nickname for it.
Reply:I think that Michaela is a very pretty girls name, but I wouldn't give her the nickname Mischa. The two names really have no similarities, sorry.

If you are worried about people having trouble pronouncing it, you could use a different spelling.

Makayla is a bit easier to read, but just remember that Michaela is the traditional spelling.

Some good middle names are:

Michaela Jane

Michaela Rose

Michaela Cheyenne

Michaela Kristen

Michaela Tiffany

Michaela Jewel

Michaela Faith
Reply:Michaela is the name of one of my family members, she doesn't get teased. well, i probably stay in a different country, with different ideas on names, but i think it's a good name. it means- who is like God, Irish.

good stuff.

middle names, not sure i just like the name rose or Rosalind- meaning rose so I'm going to mention it.
Reply:I've heard plenty of people named Michaela and they've never been teased by their name.

I think you should name her

Michaela Nicole

Michaela Marie

Michaela Anne

Michaela Addison

Good luck with this beautiful baby you have on the way!
Reply:I like Michaela best. As for middle names Michaela Rose sounds nice
Reply:I would go for Mikayla because it is easier to pronounce. Mikayla Rose

Mikayla Elizabth

Mikayla Kelly

Mikayla Allison

my name is kelly so i liked kelly. haha hope i helped. good luck with birth. i'm only 12 so idk how it will go.
Reply:Michaela and Michelle are decent names.
Reply:I really like Michaela *Mischa*. I don't think people will have a problem at all. Michaela is quite common and people with catch on to Mischa once they hear you say it. If it becomes too much of a hassle you could always use another nickname since Michaela has so many.
Reply:Nobody will tease her.

Meesha Grace

Mikayla Nicole
Reply:I like a combo of the first two anwers. Mikayla Rose. Very unique. I don't think I've ever seen it spelled like that.
