Baby Name Help!?

We consider naming our baby girl Reese Avery and plan to call her Avery. Opinions on using her middle name... What do you think, what will she think? Help!

Baby Name Help!?
I think Reese Avery is a wonderful name. Although Avery Reese may make more sense and be a bit less confusing i'm sure you will decide the right combination for this beautiful little girl when you see her little face smiling up at you!

Love,

Reese Avery / Avery Reese's dad :)
Reply:its cute. it would work Avery Reese as well so why not name her that if you want to call her Avery
Reply:she will love it... awesoem name
Reply:If her first name is going to be Reese, I wouldn't confuse her.
Reply:It's pretty masculine, to me. Reese is a variant of the guy's name Rhys, and Avery is a guy's name that has recently gone to the girls. There's nothing wrong with it other than that, though, but if you love Avery so much, make it her first name. Ava is a cute nickname.
Reply:How about using Avery as her first name. Giving her a new middle name like Sable. And saving Reece for the next daughter?

Avery Reece runs together funny. don't just flip your idea around. And look it up in the phone book or on google. It may be a person with that last name Reece. Or Avery. Just take time to google it or something.
Reply:i think its a cute name. you could even call her something like ava for an even shortened version of avery.
Reply:I think if your going to call her Avery, its better to just use Avery as a first name. Avery is a really cute name, I like it better than Reese.

Try

Avery Reese or

Avery Rachel

Avery Rae
Reply:I would call her by her first name, but if you like Avery better than have that be her first name!

Or, you could also name her after a saint! then, the girl has a patron Saint! She has some one that she wants to be a model of! Patron Saints are great!!! Well, Good Luck and Congratulations!!!
Reply:Reese Avery is incredibly unisex. I think calling someone by their middle name is confusing. Why wouldn't you name her Avery Reese?
Reply:Cute name but if you want to call her Avery why not just name her Avery Reese?
Reply:i really like reese

its original

i think its a great name
Reply:If you want to call your child Avery, name her that.
Reply:Why not just name her Avery Reese. I think her first name should be what you want to call her.Either way I love the name!
Reply:I think Susanna Avery sounds pretty.

and calling her avery would be a really pretty name to.
Reply:Why not just name her Avery Reese then, if Avery is what you are going to call her anyway. My aunt used her middle name as her first name, but her first name was Rhonda and her middle name was Sue, the name Sue suited her personality better than Rhonda, so you'll have to see what she thinks as she gets older. Congratulations and best of luck!
Reply:Name her that. Call her Avery
Reply:Why not name her Avery Reese if you want to call her Avery. I think Avery is a cute name, its fun but also demands respect
Reply:Reese Elizabeth Avery

Reese Ann Avery

I don't know I like the name but its kind of hard to pick a middle name for one of those

COOL NAME CHOICES
Reply:that is a very pretty name and plenty of people go by their middle names, but they will probably get tired of people that don't know calling them by their first name, like teachers at school or something like that. i also like it the other way around...Avery Reese. that way there is no confusion.
Reply:I agree with the first person's response. Avery Reese is just fine.
Reply:If youre going to call her avery why not just name her avery? That concept of people doing that just boggles my mind, Why bother naming her something you dont plan on calling her? Its weird to me but I dont know p.s Reese and Avery are fabulous names good choices
Reply:In different parts of America, people of all ages are known by their middle names more so than by their given names. In some aspects that can be good, like when your name gets put in the paper for breaking the law (DWI or whatever), but it can be bad when certain folks know you by one name and yet you are called on to identify a body or to go see someone in a hospital ----- you know Jack Doe but you are being called to go see a Jon Doe.

But when the child starts school what will you have the teachers call her? Reese or Avery... It will be up to you to explain WHY the difference in name calling to her AND the schoolboard SYSTEM.

I babysat for this boy I know as "Cody", then one day the police came around asking about "Justin".......I was BLOWN AWAYYYYyyyyyy when I was told I don't know much about the kids I watch (I was a babysitter for over 25 yrs!) {I know both of his parents by their middle names too. I just didn't know until then that she referred to her last child only by his middle name; not the others.}

Also I have learned that people of American-Indian backgrounds as well as foreigners are known to the public by their middle names.
Reply:it's a cute name my lil cousin's name is avery
