I'm white and my boyfriend is full mexican, and I was wondering what a good name for a girl or boy would be for our baby we're trying to have? I want something with a little latino-ness in it, to honor his/her heritage. :]
What is a cute name for a half mexican/half white baby?
I would choose a name that is acceptable in both family's cultures, maybe something like:
Cristina/Christina/Kristina
Isabella
Nicola/Nicole
Liana
Veronica
Gabriella
Gabriel
Carlos
Saul
Elias
Javier
Something that most people know how to pronounce so he/she won't have trouble when they go to school. I think it's nice that you're trying to honor the heritage of your family though. =)
Reply:I've got the perfect answer - take a look at this list:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bilingual_n...
Can't get much better for a 1/2 white, 1/2 Mexican baby than those names. Especially if your boyfriend speaks Spanish.
Reply:Hi I have just posted a question and thought in return I would answer one and I found yours. I think Tia is a very cute name for a girl and I don't know what nationality it is I'm afraid. Gervais is nice for a boy. I don't know what this means either. good luck with it all:]
Reply:Names are usually based from family names. There really is not a in between name for a mixed baby. I am hispanic and my childrens father is white and our childrens names are shaianne, rebekah, brieanna, and patrick and jacob.
Reply:I know two half Mexican/half white kids, their names are Michael and Melissa. I personally don't think that Melissa sounds very Mexican, Michael is such a traditional name I think its okay.

I like Valentina for a girl, and Cruz, or Luis for a boy.
