im 3 months pregnant, im currently dating the father, his name is Jerry. im 24 and he's in his early 50's. we've been dating since september. it was not a planned pregnancy, but i do love him, not sure if he's husband material though, especially with the age difference. we've talked about baby names, i asked him about his other kids and how he and his ex-wife did it. im planning on keeping my last name for the baby which i believe is right. My last name is Schweitzer and Jerry's last name is Hernandez, i like mine a lot better! lol! any good first names whether its a boy or girl? but i want him or her to have my last name. on halloween, Jerry had a kidney stone and passed it. now i've heard that its like having a baby for a man, since ive never experienced child birth, i was asking Jerry what passing a stone was like because he has passed 3 of them in his life! he just said prepare for pain, gut wrenching pain, but in child birth there's more relief available to a woman then there is to a person having a stone. he said he believes the one real difference is that a woman will be in the hospital with her legs up in stirrups giving birth, while a man having a kidney stone will be in his bathroom, standing over the pot trying to piss a hard mass out through his you know..?
My baby's name, which last name to keep?
how dare a man pretend to know what childbirth feels like. next time he is passing a stone tell him to imagine that the stone weighs 7.5 pounds. give the baby your last name and move on.
Reply:I have never had a kidney stone so I don't know. I have had a baby though and it hurt like hell. Sorry! Once I got a epidural I couldn't feel anything so after that it was all good. I think you should give the baby your last name, I did that and I don't think I could have made a better decesion although a 50 year old man with a 24 year old, eww...sorry.
