Baby Name Survey ???

Do you guys just pick a name for your baby and then when its born you already have a name or do you pick alot of combos and when you look at the baby for the first time what ever fit him or her you named him/her the choice.

It could go both ways.





For my first, a daughter, I had about 4 names picked out and but soon as she was born I knew right in my heart what her name should be.





For my second, a son, I had his named picked out from about my 6th month along.
Reply:We had are daughters name picked out before she was born. We named her Kinsey Jaiden. Kinsey was my maiden name and we just loved Jaiden. We new that that name would fit her.

Reply:Well I know what I want my kids names to be but if I try the name out and for some reason it doesn't seem to fit then I would probably just try one of the short listed names but I don't actually have a 'just in case this doesn't work' name as such.
Reply:Personally I thought of all different names during my pregnancy and her father decided to name her Isabella so I just matched the middle name with her first name he picked out because i didn't want it to end with an a because her last name also ended in an a. So we named her Isabella Elizabeth Pina, before she was born.

Reply:I picked all my kid's names before they were born. My daughter, on the other hand, picked a couple of names and when her son was born she picked the name that best "looked" like him.
Reply:WELL, I WOULD SAY TO PICK A NAME THAT YOU WOULD LOVE YOUR BOY/GIRL WITH, THEN WHEN YOU SEE YOUR BABY, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE BACKUP NAMES, TO SEE IF YOUR CHILD LOOKS LIKE THE NAME WOULD SUIT HIM/HER. I WOULD SUGGEST HAVING A "FOR-CERTAIN" NAME...IT TAKES OFF A LOAD OF STRESS. :)
Reply:both of my children are named after other lil boys who's parents did something bad to them. to carry on the legacy for those children bc i know i will always do my best to protect my boys and never hurt them .. but to start i had a book, i asked friends and family, i tried to name each of them something else, and was informed my mother that i couldnt lol so i stuck with names that set right with me for the longest time.

Reply:my parents were going to give me my name wether i was a boiy or a girl...they had a set name for me

Reply:Well 2 get started. That baby's name was given for a reason. Sometime you may find a name that you think fits best. Most of the time poeple would combine name like davidson, wallner, or macknzei jsut for the heck of it.





Long-Story-Short: I sudjset you find a name that fit best 4 your baby or if not just pick a combination.
Reply:People sometimes come up with aname before the baby is born... But most of the time if they don't come up with a name yet, then you still have a few more days to decide... My mom named me after I was born...=)
Reply:I chose the name before my baby was born. It helped to "talk" to him before he was born and already "get to know him" as Cody. I had the first name picked out before I even got pregnant-always knew I wanted a Cody.
