i find it very hard to believe that she wants to name her daughter such a butchered name.
Reply:I am afraid your friend can't be influenced by you, it appears she has her mind made up.
However, you might want to educate her on the consequences of choosing an overly unique name, when it comes to education, and upward mobility. I've attached some articles.

My daughter had a problem with her name all through school and her name came from another culture other than the ethnic area we lived in and the school she attended.
If that chlds mother is white and her father "black." A non name made up out of the air is hard for a child to live up to.
My best friend combined two names that of the baby's father and that of her own and came up with the name Al for Albert and Rita for her name. Alrita. The child being bi-racial.
A hundred years from now will the name be an issue? Certainly not.

Baby Name Just For Fun Some Really Cute Name!!!?
Girls:
My cousin's daughter is Rylee Shay. I like the spelling Riley for a boy. Riley Hope is nice.
Charlie is cute for a girl I think I would spell it Charley so it looks more feminine. I would also pick a really girlie middle name so no one thought she was a boy. Elizabeth, Olivia, Isabelle, etc. I prefer Caden for a boy.
I like Jane its a pretty, classic name. I love Blake, but only for a boy.
Kalynn is ok its a bit too common for my taste. I like Anne, but I feel together its a bit too much "n".
Kailey is pretty. This used to be on my list spelled Kayleigh I think I like Anne as a middle name better than Lin. I like Lin spelled Lynne better too, but I like the name.
I have a cousin Brianna so I like that name too! I think its too much "n" for me but its not a bad combo at all.
I'm not sure how to pronounce Midison, I know like 5 or 6 Maddies so I think its too close to Madison for me. I like Ray spelled Rae and overall I like the flow of the combo.
Misty is nmsaa. I really like Faith.
Sydney is cute. I love Audrey. I don't really care for the combo. Too much "e".
Sophia Chloe is cute. I really like both names.

I love Thomas especially with the nickname Tommy.
I like Adam and Aston, but not as a combo.

Baby boy name?
I'm not pregnant, but I was talking about baby names with my best friend, and I told her that if I ever have boy twins I'm going to name them Benjamin Scott and Brooks Owen, and she seemed horrifed by the name Brooks Owen... What do you guys think??

Benjamin Scott is a very cool classic name and I've always loved the name Scott. I think Brooks Owen is an awesome name for a boy. One of my friends has an uncle named Brooks. I also love Owen. So just brush off what your friend said.
