Could you help my friend pick a baby name?

She has actually decided on name, Sonny for her son, but obviously wants a fuller grown up name for a man..She knows that Santos and Santino are options...could anyone suggest anything else? Thanks greatly appreciated

Reply:Names that can sound formal bt can be shortened are good. Michael, Stephen, Thomas, Jacob, can be made into Mike,Steve, Tom, Jake etc. Sonny isn't bad though, but maybe as a middle name. Sanford is ok, but makes me think of Sanford and Son, a show from the 70's about a guy who lived in a junkyard.
